When making this pasta, I did not add as much hot sauce as I would have liked. I wanted to make sure that my youngest daughter would eat. She does not like things as spicy as the rest of us. So if you would like it a bit more spicy, add more hot sauce.
Buffalo Turkey Pasta
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces rotini pasta
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 4 tablespoons hot sauce, or more for a spicy dish
- 26 ounces spaghetti sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350º F. Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions and drain.
- While the pasta is cooking, add the ground turkey, garlic and paprika to a large skillet. Cook over medium heat, breaking up the meat, until completely cooked.
- In the pasta pot combine the, drained pasta, cooked turkey mixture, spaghetti sauce, hot sauce and vinegar. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the mixture is bubbly and cheese is melted. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
