Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream Topping

Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream Topping: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I typically do not buy ice cream toppings, probably because when I make ice cream, I do not make vanilla. I always like to try new flavors of ice cream and they do not need toppings. But an ocassion occurred for ice cream topping, so i made some.

This strawberry topping is delicious, not to mention easy and it may entice me to make vanilla ice cream, just so I can enjoy this topping.

Homemade Strawberry Ice Cream Topping

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Set aside about 1/3 of the chopped strawberries.
  2. In a medium saucepan combine the the remaining strawberries and sugar.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium high heat, stirring occasionally. Boil and cook for 5-10 minutes, or until sauce thickens to you liking.
