Banana, peanut butter and chocolate all come together in one delicious muffin. It is a muffin packed with flavors. Plus it helps use up any ripe bananas which may be laying around your kitchen or freezer.
Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe bananas
- 2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powde
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350º F. Line a muffin tin with liners or spray muffin tin well with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl mash the bananas.
- Add in the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey, milk and vanilla, mix well.
- Add in both flours, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon, stir just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly into the 12 holes of the prepared muffin tin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
