These shells are very easy to prepare. It does takes a little bit of time to stuff the shells, but it is totally worth it. I served these with a salad and some breadsticks and the meal was complete.
Stuffed Pasta Shells
Ingredients:
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1- 15 ounce container ricotta cheese
- 1- 10 ounce package frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
- 1- 12 ounce package jumbo pasta shells
- 28 ounces spaghetti sauce
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350º F. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Cook pasta according to directions and carefully drain the shells to avoid tearing them.
- In a large bowl combine the mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese and spinach.
- When shells are cool enough to handle, stuff them with the cheese and spinach mixture.
- Place stuffed shells in prepared baking dish and pour spaghetti sauce over the shells.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
