This sandwich is super easy to make, especially if already have cooked shredded chicken and do not need to make any. Even if you do need to cook some chicken it is still easy and taste delicious. Just make sure to use a good quality barbecue sauce with good flavor.
Three Cheese Barbecue Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 2 slices pepper jack cheese, cut in half
- 2 slices sharp cheddar cheese, cut in half
- 2 slices white cheddar cheese, cut in half
- 8 slices bread
- In a bowl combine the chicken and barbecue sauce.
- Divide the chicken evenly and place on four slices of bread.
- Top the chicken with a half slice of each cheese.
- Place remaining bread slice on top.
- Cook sandwich in a skillet, on a griddle or in a sandwich maker until the bread is toasted, chicken is warm and cheese is melted.
