Skillet Pasta Roma
Ingredients:
- 1 pound hot Italian Sausage
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 large cloves garlic, minced
- 3- 14 1/2 ounce cans diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano
- 8 ounce can no salt added tomato sauce
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 12 ounces spiral pasta
- parmesan cheese, shredded
Directions:
- Remove the sausage from casing, crumble into bite sized pieces and put into a large skillet. Cook sausage until brown.
- Add in onion and garlic, cooking until onion is soft. Drain, if needed.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and pasta.
- Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer keep covered and cook for 25 minutes or until pasta is tender. Stirring occasionally.
- Serve and garnish with Parmesan cheese.
