I almost did not make this recipe because I already have a nacho recipe that I love (which you can check out here) but decided to give it a try. I mean what would be so wrong with having two nacho recipes, plus it is different from my other recipe.
I prefer my other nacho recipe slightly better then this one, but one nice thing about this one is it can be used as a dip, served right out of the crock pot without all the toppings.
Crock Pot Nachos
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup diced yellow onion
- 1/4 cup diced green pepper
- 16 ounces taco sauce
- 15 ounce can refreied beans
- 10 3/4 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- tortilla chips
- lettuce, chopped
- tomatoes, diced
- sour cream
Directions:
- Brown turkey, onions and green pepper. Drain, if needed.
- Place turkey mixture, taco sauce, refried beans, soup, taco seasoning and cheese in a crock pot. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over chips and top with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.
