Who knows. All I know is this dish is delicious and worth the work of precooking the items and then cooking them in the crock pot.
Crock Pot Rigatoni
Ingredients:
- 28 ounce spaghetti sauce
- 16 ounces rigatoni noodles. cooked
- 1 pound ground turkey, cooked
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 6 ounces pepperoni slices
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- Spray a crock pot with cooking spray.
- Layer half of the spaghetti sauce, half of the pasta, half of the turkey, half of the mozzarella, half of the pepperoni and half of the mushrooms. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
