Eggnog French Toast Bake
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf french bread
- 2 1/2 cups light eggnog
- 6 eggs
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
- Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- Cut bread into 2 inch cubes and place into prepared baking dish.
- In a large bowl whisk together the eggnog, eggs, brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.
- Pour over bread and lightly toss to coat all of the bread.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight (at least 3 hours and up to 24 hours).
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- Take french toast out of the refrigerator, uncover, and bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
