Vernors Ice Cream

Vernors Ice Cream

Growing up there was a local Sanders shop that sold the most amazing ice cream, Vernors ice cream. This ice cream was smooth, creamy and tasted just like Vernors pop.

When the Sanders shop closed down my brother and I tried to recreate it, with no luck. But then again we had no clue about making homemade ice cream. We just followed a recipe for vanilla ice cream and added a ton of Vernors pop.

Vernors Ice Cream

A while back I had pinned a recipe for Soda Pop Ice Cream with the sole purpose of using it to make Vernors Ice Cream. The ice cream had the exact favor I was looking for, but was more icy than creamy. I still enjoyed it as it was nice and refreshing, however I will still be working on recreating the Vernors Ice Cream from my childhood.
