For stuffing the burgers I do not give amounts as to how much to put into each burger, but do not be afraid to really stuff them. I feel I went a little light on stuffing the burgers because I was afraid of adding too much. So, you will have to use your best judgement on how much to stuff the burgers. But no matter how you stuff them they will be delicious!
Caprese Stuffed Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
- grape tomatoes, quartered
- mozzarella cheese, cut into pieces
- basil leaves
- hamburger buns
- Divide the ground turkey into 8 equal pieces and form each piece into a patty. When making 4 of the patty, create a well in the middle. You want the sides to be higher and the middle to be thinner.
- Add some tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil leaves to well of the patties. Place another patty on top and press the edges together to seal the filling in.
- Cook the patties your preferred way.
