Sweet and Spicy Italian Barbecue Chicken


Sometimes I do not get a lot of flavor from a marinade, but this one was different. I only marinaded it for an hour, and once it was cooked it had great flavor and little bit of spice. I can only imagine how flavorful it would be if I let it marinade overnight.


Sweet and Spicy Italian Barbecue Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 3/4 cup Italian dressing
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl whisk together the barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, chili powder and red pepper flakes.
  2. Place the chicken in a large baking dish and pour the sauce over top. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook your preferred way until the chicken is completely cooked.
