Buffalo Turkey Pasta

Buffalo Turkey Pasta: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

When making this pasta, I did not add as much hot sauce as I would have liked. I wanted to make sure that my youngest daughter would eat. She does not like things as spicy as the rest of us. So if you would like it a bit more spicy, add more hot sauce.

Buffalo Turkey Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons hot sauce, or more for a spicy dish
  • 26 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350º F. Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions and drain.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, add the ground turkey, garlic and paprika to a large skillet. Cook over medium heat, breaking up the meat, until completely cooked.
  4. In the pasta pot combine the, drained pasta, cooked turkey mixture, spaghetti sauce, hot sauce and vinegar. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the mixture is bubbly and cheese is melted. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
I used my Homemade Spaghetti Sauce in this recipe.
