This dish is super easy and super delicious. A perfect compliment to any meal. Plus you can really use any type of noodle you would like and it all cooks in one pot.
Garlic Parmesan Noodles
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 12 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cups low sodium chicken stock
- 1 pound angel hair pasta
- 2 cups grated parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
Directions:
- In a large pot, over medium heat, heat the olive oil and melt the butter. Add in the garlic and stir for 1 minute. Season with black pepper.
- Add in the chicken stock, turn heat up to high and bring to a boil. Add in the pasta and cook according to the recommended time on the package.
- Remove from the heat and add in the parmesan cheese and stir until completely melted.
- Add in the half and half and parsley, stirring to mix. Add in more half and half if desired.
