Berry Banana Oatmeal Bake: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

The more baked oatmeal recipes I make the more I love them. They are quick and easy to prepare and taste delicious. Plus it fills me up and keeps me full longer than cereal and milk.

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fat free milk
  • 1 banana

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375º F. Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooling spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine the oats, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and chocolate chips. Fold in the frozen berries and transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading into an even layer.
  3. In another large bowl whisk together the egg, melted butter, vanilla extract and milk. Pour mixture over the oats mixture. Gently shake the pan to make sure everything is evenly distributed.
