Crock Pot Rigatoni

Savory Sweet and Satisfying: Crock Pot Rigatoni

Typically I prefer crock pot recipes were you take all of the ingredients "dump" them in the crock pot, set it and forget it. I am not a huge fan of precooking items and then putting them in the crock pot. It seems like a waste of the crock pot to cook everything only to put it in the crock pot. Does the crock pot really make that big of a difference in the final product when all of the ingredients are already cooked?

Who knows. All I know is this dish is delicious and worth the work of precooking the items and then cooking them in the crock pot.
