Crock Pot Rigatoni

Savory Sweet and Satisfying: Crock Pot Rigatoni

Typically I prefer crock pot recipes were you take all of the ingredients "dump" them in the crock pot, set it and forget it. I am not a huge fan of precooking items and then putting them in the crock pot. It seems like a waste of the crock pot to cook everything only to put it in the crock pot. Does the crock pot really make that big of a difference in the final product when all of the ingredients are already cooked?

Savory Sweet and Satisfying: Crock Pot Rigatoni

Who knows. All I know is this dish is delicious and worth the work of precooking the items and then cooking them in the crock pot.

Crock Pot Rigatoni
28 ounce spaghetti sauce
16 ounces rigatoni noodles. cooked
1 pound ground turkey, cooked
3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
6 ounces pepperoni slices
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced

Spray a crock pot with cooking spray.

Layer half of the spaghetti sauce, half of the pasta, half of the turkey, half of the mozzarella, half of the pepperoni and half of the mushrooms. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.

Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
