Eggnog French Toast Bake

Eggnog French Toast Bake: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

This is my kind of breakfast. Prepare it the night before. Stick it in the fridge. Take it out in the morning and bake. So easy and yet so delicious with just the right amount of eggnog flavor.

Eggnog French Toast Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 2 1/2 cups light eggnog
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cut bread into 2 inch cubes and place into prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl whisk together the eggnog, eggs, brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.
  4. Pour over bread and lightly toss to coat all of the bread.
  5. Cover and refrigerate overnight (at least 3 hours and up to 24 hours).
  6. Preheat oven to 350º F.
  7. Take french toast out of the refrigerator, uncover, and bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy!!!
