Chipotle Ranch Burgers

Chipotle Ranch Burgers

From my last experience with chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, I knew if I bought them for this recipe I would either need to make some of my previous recipes that use chipotle peppers, find some new reciepes that use chipotle peppers or figure out how long I can store the remaining peppers.

Well after some research I have discovered that they will last in an air tight container in the fridge for 3-4 months. Also you can puree them and freeze them either in one large batch or smaller batches like an ice cube tray.

So now I do not have to rush to make a bunch of recipes to use them up right away like I did last time. Yay!

Now for the burgers. The only thing I can say is they are delicious and worth making again and again!

Chipotle Ranch Burgers

1 pound ground turkey
1 packet ranch dressing mix, store bought or homemade
1 tablespoon chipote peppers in adobo sauce, pureed

Chipotle Ranch Sauce
1/4 cup lite ranch dressing
1 teaspoon chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, pureed

4 slices cheddar cheese
4 slices turkey bacon
romaine lettuce
4 tomato slices
4 hamburger buns

In a large bowl combine the ground turkey, ranch dressing mix and chipotle peppers. Shape into 4 patties and cook your desired way. Add the cheese the last few minutes of cooking so it can melt.

Mix the ranch dressing and chipotle peppers and spread on the buns. Place the burgers on the buns and top with bacon, lettuce and tomato.
