I have been finding some really yummy burger recipes lately, which make me happy because I have been in the mood for some good burgers. These burgers are not lacking on flavor at all. They are so delicious!
Black Jack Burgers
Ingredients:
Blackening Spice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Burger
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Roma tomato
- 4 hamburger buns
Special Sauce
- 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon sriacha
- 1 teaspoon pickle relish
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
Directions:
Blackening Spice
- In a small bowl, whisk together all of the spices.
Burger
- In a large bowl combine the ground turkey, cheese, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
- Form the turkey into 4 equal patties.
- Sprinkle both sides of the patties with the blackening spice, using it all up.
- Cook the burgers you desired way.
Special Sauce
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Assembly
- Apply special sauce to hamburger buns, top buns with burger patty and top burger patty with tomato slice.
Notes:
If you do not like thing super spicy, just reduce the amount of seasoning added to the burger patties.
