This Alfredo sauce is super easy to make and creates a delicious sauce. A sauce that is rich and creamy with such good Alfredo flavor.
This sauce will work in any recipe that calls for a jar of Alfredo sauce or you can use it with some fettuccine noodles for fettuccine Alfredo. One batch of this sauce will yield about 16 ounces.
Homemade Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, add in the butter, heavy whipping cream and cream cheese. Heat stirring often until completely melted and well combined.
- Stir in the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and black pepper. Gradually stir in the parmesan cheese.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and allow to simmer for 3-5 minutes or until thickened, while stirring constantly.
