Maple Brown Sugar Latte

Maple Brown Sugar Latte: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I do not know how exactly to describe this latte besides delicious to the last drop. I enjoyed every single drop of this latte and went to drink some more and realized it was gone. I was a little sad, cause I thought I had more left and considered making another one.

Maple Brown Sugar Latte

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 ounces strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan, add in the brown sugar, water, maple syrup and cinnamon. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring often, for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  2. Pour the syrup into a mug followed by the hot coffee.
  3. Heat the milk to a simmer and froth with a frother. Pour the milk into the mug.
