I do not know how exactly to describe this latte besides delicious to the last drop. I enjoyed every single drop of this latte and went to drink some more and realized it was gone. I was a little sad, cause I thought I had more left and considered making another one.
Maple Brown Sugar Latte
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 ounces strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup milk
Directions:
- In a small saucepan, add in the brown sugar, water, maple syrup and cinnamon. Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring often, for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Pour the syrup into a mug followed by the hot coffee.
- Heat the milk to a simmer and froth with a frother. Pour the milk into the mug.
