Baileys Frozen Mochaccino

Baileys Frozen Mochaccino: Savory Sweet and Satisfying
 
This frozen mochaccino was the perfect afternoon treat, especially after working in the yard. This creamy and smooth frozen treat tasted absolutely amazing! The taste and texture reminded me of a mousse, a frozen mousse. 

Baileys Frozen Mochaccino

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup strong coffee
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons Baileys
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream

Directions:

  1. In a small pot, stir together the sugar, coffee and water. Bring the mixture to a boil and let boil for about 2 minutes.
  2. Remove the pot from the heat and add in the chocolate chips. Stir until the chips are melted  and smooth. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  3. Once the mixture has cooled to room temperature, stir in the Baileys.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat the whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the cooled chocolate mixture into the whipped cream. 
  5. Scoop the mixture into individual serving bowls and cover with plastic wrap making sure the plastic wrap touches the top of the mixture. Freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.
