I can't hide my love of nachos, I love them so much and I love making them at home. I also love trying new varieties of nachos. Barbecue nachos are of course delicious and I love the flavor of barbecue sauce on nachos. Just make sure to use a good quality barbecue sauce since that is the main flavor of these nachos.
Barbecue Cheeseburger Nachos
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- tortilla chips
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1/4-1/2 red onion, diced
- 8 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350º F.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground turkey until completely cooked and crumbled. Remove from the heat and stir in the barbecue sauce.
- Spread desired amount of chips down in an even layer on a baking sheet.
- Spread the barbecue ground turkey over top of the chips followed by both cheeses.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
- Sprinkle the diced tomato, onion and crumbled bacon over top. Drizzle with extra barbecue sauce is desired.
