Oh my goodness, these green beans!!! My husband can't stop talking about how amazing they are and asking when I'm going to make them again. I have already made them twice in one month, but since I have more Homemade Teriyaki Sauce, I just might have to make them again soon.
All of the flavor for these green beans comes from the teriyaki sauce, so make sure you choose a high quality one or use your favorite homemade recipe like I did.
Teriyaki Green Beans
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic, about 1 clove
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
Directions:
- In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, melt the butter.
- Add in the green beans and mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the green beans start to soften, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add in the garlic and cook while stirring for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the teriyaki sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until desired tenderness is reached.
Enjoy!!!
