I love easy and delicious vegetable dishes. Most times I am so focused on the main dish that I do not have time or the desire to worry about making a vegetable other than a salad or frozen veggie. But with a vegetable like this, I have problem making it since it is so easy and hardly takes any time or thought and yet is so delicous.
Roasted Parmesan Green Beans
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoons panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400º F.
- In a large bowl, toss all of the ingredients together.
- Spread the green beans out in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet.
- Roast to green beans for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking time.
Notes:
I have also made this using frozen green beans. I do not thaw the green beans first, I prepare the recipe with the green beans still frozen.
