I wanted to remake my Sloppy Joe Grilled Cheese Sandwich and realized that I did not have a recipe for basic Sloppy Joes. I'm not sure what I used to make the sandwich the first time. I'm guessing the Sloppy Joe recipe was not a keeper, but the idea of the sandwich was. Whatever the reason, I am glad I had to find a recipe, because this Sloppy Joe recipe is delicious. It has a sauce that is slightly tangy and a little sweet and the consistency is perfect.
When the meat is cooking with the sauce, be sure to keep and eye on it because it can go from runny to too thick quickly and dry Sloppy Joes are not that good.
