Everything Bagel Hummus

Everything Bagel Hummus: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Once I discovered everything bagel seasoning, I have been using it in many different recipes. This hummus is the latest recipe I have used the seasoning in and I love it. It is creamy with the most delicious flavor thanks to the everything bagel seasoning. I am beginning to think this seasoning makes everything taste better. I wish I had made a double batch of this hummus, because it did not last nearly long enough.

Everything Bagel Hummus

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 15 ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed, reserving the liquid
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons reserved chickpea liquid
  • 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Directions:

  1. In a food processor add tahini and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Add in the whole garlic clove and a handful of chickpeas. Mix well. Continue adding handfuls of chickpeas mixing well after each addition.
  3. Add in the olive oil, the liquid from drained chickpeas and the everything bagel seasoning. Mix until well blended.
  4. Transfer to a container and sprinkle with some everything bagel seasoning.
  5. Cover the container and refrigerate overnight before serving.
