Everything Bagel Chips

Everything Bagel Chips: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

My husband and I have a bagel shop that makes the most delicious bagels and more importantly bagel chips. Unfortunately we do not live near this bagel shop, in fact there is not one in the state we currently live in. So it is not often we get to enjoy their delicious bagel chips.

I wanted to try and make bagel chips at home so we can enjoy them more often. This bagel chip recipe was definitely a hit, just not as good as our favorite bagel shop. The bagel shop gets them nice and thin, but at home I was not able to get the as thin. It is hard cutting a bagel into thin slices with a bread knife. Even though the bagel chips were on the thicker side they were very good and I will definitely make them again.

Everything Bagel Chips

Ingredients:

  • 3 plain bagels
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350º F.
  2. Slice the bagels as thinly as you want or can. I was able to cut them into fourths.
  3. Place the bagel slices onto a large baking sheet.
  4. Brush the bagel slices with the melted butter and sprinkle with the everything bagel seasoning.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, rotating the baking sheet halfway through the baking time.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let cool.
  7. Store the bagels in an airtight container at room temperature.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
I started out using 3 tablespoons of everything bagel seasoning and added more as needed to the bagel slices to make sure they had plenty of seasoning.
