When it comes to fries, I prefer thin and crispy. However, these fires are so delicious they will make it into my fry rotation. The outside of the fries are nice and crispy with a soft inside. The seasoning on the fries is so delicious and adds nice flavor.
Oven Baked French Fries
Ingredients:
- 4 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400º F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Cut the potatoes into 1/2 inch thick slices and place into a large bowl.
- Add the oil and all of the spices to the bowl and toss to completely and evenly coat the potatoes.
- Place the potatoes on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space in between the potatoes.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then turn the potatoes over and bake an additional 15 minutes or until crispy.
