Broccoli, Bacon and Cheddar Cheese Chicken: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I love how easy this dish was to make. The chicken and broccoli cooked together in the oven and then was topped with the bacon and cheeses and baked for a few more minutes. This created an easy and delicious dinner.

Broccoli, Bacon and Cheddar Cheese Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 1 pound frozen broccoli florets
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400º F.
  2. Grease the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish with the olive oil and add the chicken. Season the chicken with black pepper and then top with the broccoli.
  3. Bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked.
  4. Top the chicken with the bacon and both cheeses. Bake for about 5 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted.
