Piña Colada Overnight Oats: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Lately the weather in my new state has been chilly in the mornings. I am talking about mid to low 50's. I waited all winter long for warmer weather for my morning runs and I did get it for a while, but for some reason the past week has been chilly in the morning. So a breakfast that incorporates tropical flavors and makes me dream of warm runs is just what I need, well that and a hot cup of coffee.

Piña Colada Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup pineapple tidbit
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds

Directions:

  1. In a mason jar or resealable container add in the oats and the milk. Then add in greek yogurt, pineapple and coconut.
  2. Seal container and refrigerate overnight.
  3. In the morning add in the almonds and stir everything together.
