Who doesn't love a dinner where you literally dump most of the ingredients into a pan, give them a stir, cover and bake. Then uncover, stir, add a few more ingredients, bake a few more minutes and then serve. And to make it even better, you do not even need to boil the pasta first. In just about 45 minutes from start to finish you can have a delicious and easy dinner on the table.
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces elbow pasta
- 24 ounces pizza sauce

- In the prepared baking dish add the uncooked pasta, pizza sauce, water and 3/4 of the pepperoni, stir everything together. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil. Bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover the baking dish and stir well. Sprinkle the cheese over the pasta and top with the remaining pepperoni. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and pasta is tender.

Can I use penne pasta?
ReplyDeleteIt should work just fine. I haven’t tried penne, but it is also a short cut pasta like elbow and most times are interchangeable.
