These chicken breasts are extremely easy and super delicious. With my husband and I liking things spicier I used 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, but if you do not like things as spicy then only use 1/4 teaspoon.
Baked Cajun Chicken Breasts
Ingredients:
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4-1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450º F. Lightly grease a 8x8 baking dish.
- In a small bowl combine all of the spices.
- Rub the spice mixture over both sides of the chicken breasts and place in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 18 minutes, then cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the chicken is completely.
