A delicious breakfast using only four ingredients. A recipe does not have to have a lot of ingredients to be delicious. Some of the most basic recipes, like this one, become one of my family's favorite meals.
Hillbilly Breakfast Bake
Ingredients:
- 1- 32 ounce bag frozen tater tots
- 16 ounces roll sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 12 eggs
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400º F.
- Lightly spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray and spread the tater tots evenly on the bottom of it.
- Evenly place the cooked sausage on top of the tater tots.
- Sprinkle 4 ounces of the cheese on top of the meat.
- In a large bowl whisk the eggs together and then pour them evenly over the dish.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and season with black pepper.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until eggs are cooked.
