This chicken is very delicious and the lime flavor really comes through. The best part is you can either grill the chicken or cook it in a skillet, making it a chicken you can enjoy year round.
Honey Lime Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 limes, zest and juice
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 4 large chicken breasts
Directions:
- Measure the honey in a glass measuring cup. Add in the lime zest and juice, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and cumin, stir well to mix.
- Add chicken to a resealable bag and pour marinade over top. Seal bag, place on a plate and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight. The longer the chicken marinades the more flavorful the chicken will be.
- Cook chicken in a skillet or on a grill, turning once, until chicken is completely cooked, about 5-8 minutes per side.
Notes:
Since the chicken breasts were large I was able to get 2 servings out of each chicken breast. The number of servings you get will depend on the size of your chicken breasts.
Instead of 4 large chicken breasts, you can use 6 medium chicken breasts.
