Garlic Cheddar Chicken Strips

These chicken strips are so tasty and delicious, that my kids gobbled them up. But why wouldn't they. They are chicken strips coated in cheesy bread crumb crust.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken Strips

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F.
  2. In a small saucepan melt the butter over low heat. Add the garlic and sauté until tender.
  3. In a shallow bowl mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, oregano and pepper.
  4. Cut chicken breasts into strips. Dip each chicken breast into the garlic butter and then press into the bread crumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken onto a 9x13 baking dish.
  6. Drizzle the chicken strips with any remaining garlic butter and top with any remaining bread crumbs.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is completely cooked.
