I needed a recipe for pork chops and was also looking to use the juice of a lemon that I had previously zested. Immediately I remembered a recipe that I had pinned not too long ago and it was perfect. Not only did it call for lemon juice, but all of the other ingredients it called for are common ingredients that I typically always have on hand.
Garlic Honey Pork Chops
Ingredients:
- 6 pork chops
- 1/4 cup lemon juice, fresh
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions:
- In a small bowl combine the lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic and olive oil.
- Place pork chops in a resealable bag and add marinade. Close the bag and turn to mix the pork chops and marinade.
- Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
- When the pork chops are done marinading you can either grill them or cook them in a skillet.
- While the pork chops are cooking baste them with the remaining marinade and cook until completely done, turning once.
