Stuffed Cheese Buns

Stuffed Cheese Buns

This recipe is a great way to use up left over cheese you may have in your fridge. Or you could buy cheese just to make these, they are worth it after all.

You can use almost any cheese you wish for the inside and top of these buns. The combinations are endless. I even made them once where I had many different cheeses to use up so each one ended up being different.

  4. Add the flour in a little at a time while the mixer is running.

  6. Remove the dough and grease the bowl, then return the dough to the bowl and cover with a damp cloth.
  7. Let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 375° F. Grease a baking sheet.
  9. Divide the dough into 20 equal pieces.
  10. Roll each piece into a ball, stick a piece of cheese in the middle of it and pinch the sides together very well to seal the cheese in.
  11. Put the buns seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  12. Sprinkle the buns with some shredded cheese.
  13. Bake for about 11-15 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Serve warm.
Enjoy!!!
