I had to take pictures of this tasty milkshake very fast, because my family was having a lot of trouble waiting to drink them. And it wasn't until I downloaded the pictures that I noticed the upside down Oreo box. Oh well, it adds some character to the picture.
One sip of this milkshake and you instantly taste the Oreos, but then you taste the toasted marshmallows and it is a delicious combination. One worth having again and again.
Toasted Marshmallow Cookies and Cream Milkshake
Ingredients:
- 15 regular marshmallows
- 3 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup fat free milk
- 3 Oreos
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking sheet with a silpat and line marshmallows up in the center of the silpat.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and toasted. Keep and eye on the marshmallows, because they can go from toasted to burnt really quick. Remove from oven.
- Place ice cream, milk and toasted marshmallows into a blender. Blend until well combined.
- Add Oreos and blend slightly.
