The taco seasoning adds such wonderful flavor to the ground turkey and then you have the creaminess of the cheese in the middle. Such a great combination!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 package taco seasoning, store bought or homemade
- 1/4 cup low fat chive and onion cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 hamburger buns
Directions:
- In a small bowl mix cream cheese and cheddar cheese, set aside.
- In a large bowl mix ground turkey and taco seasoning.
- Shape into 8 thin patties.
- Spoon about 1 heaping tablespoon of cheese mixture onto the center of four patties.
- Top with another patty pinching the edges of the patties together to seal.
- Cook patties your favorite way and toast buns if desired.
