Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Peanut butter and chocolate is a classic combination. You can find the combination in candy, cupcakes, cakes, pies and numerous other desserts. So why not hot chocolate?

The taste is exactly what you would think, creamy chocolate with creamy peanut butter flavor. Normally I top my hot chocolate with whipped cream, but this time I switched it up and used marshmallows. I still prefer whipped cream on my hot chocolate, but the marshmallows was nice change.

Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan add the milk and half and half. Heat over medium-low heat until the mixture begins to simmer, do not allow the mixture to boil.
  2. Once the mixture begins to simmer add in the chocolate chips and stir until melted. Add in the peanut butter and stir until melted. Pour into a large mug and top with marshmallows.
Enjoy!!!
