Crock Pot Cheesy Potatoes with Sausage: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

When enjoying a delicious crock pot dish like this one, it reminds me that I need to use my crock pot more often. I enjoy not being stuck in the kitchen on the weekends and being able to enjoy more family time or getting others things done that I need to. I guess it is time to search for some more delicious and easy crock pot recipes to try. 

Crock Pot Cheesy Potatoes with Sausage

Ingredients:
  • 4 cups frozen cubed hash browns
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 16 ounces smoked sausage, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • black pepper, to taste
Directions:
  1. In a crock pot add the frozen potatoes, diced bell peppers, diced onion, sliced sausage, shredded cheese, sour cream, oregano and basil.
  2. Stir in the cream of chicken soup and season with black pepper.
  3. Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4-5 hours or high heat for 2-3 hours.
