Chicken Lazone

Chicken Lazone: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

This dish takes less than 30 minutes to make. Plus all you need is one skillet and one pot. And to top it all off it is really simple to make and does not require a lot of ingredients.

Chicken Lazone

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces spaghetti noodles
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 cups heavy cream

Directions:

  1. In a large pot cook the spaghetti noodles according to the package directions and drain well.
  2. In a small bowl combine the chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
  3. Cut the chicken breasts into strips, like chicken tenders. Sprinkle both sides of the chicken with the seasoning mix.
  4. In a large skillet, over medium high heat, melt half of the butter. Cook the chicken for 4 minutes, then flip and cook on the other side for 4 more minutes, or until completely cooked. Transfer the chicken to a plate and keep warm.
  5. To the same skillet melt the remaining butter and then add in the heavy cream. Reduce the heat and allow the mixture to simmer, stirring often, until the sauce thickens. Add the pasta to the sauce and stir to coat.
  6. Serve the chicken over the pasta.
