Baked Cajun Chicken Breasts

Baked Cajun Chicken Breasts: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

These chicken breasts are extremely easy and super delicious. With my husband and I liking things spicier I used 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, but if you do not like things as spicy then only use 1/4 teaspoon.

Baked Cajun Chicken Breasts

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450º F. Lightly grease a 8x8 baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl combine all of the spices.
  3. Rub the spice mixture over both sides of the chicken breasts and place in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake for 18 minutes, then cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the chicken is completely.
