This sandwich is definitely one I will be making anytime I have leftover ham. The pickles is what makes this sandwich so much better than a ham and grilled cheese sandwich. Having that crunch of the dill pickle is such a nice addition. My family enjoyed it so much, instead of having the pickle on the side it was in the sandwich.
Dill Pickle and Ham Grilled Cheese

- 8 slices sourdough bread
- reduced fat cream cheese
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- sliced ham
- dill pickle sandwich slices
Directions:
- Spread some cream cheese on all the slices of bread.
- Place a slice of provolone on 4 slices of bread.
- Top the cheese with some ham slices, dill pickle slices and then another slices of provolone cheese.
- Place the remaining slices of bread on top.
- Heat a griddle or large skillet over medium low heat.
- Place the sandwiches down and cook for 4-5 minutes or until the cheese starts to melt and the bread is golden brown.
- Carefully flip the sandwiches over and cook on the other side for about 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
Enjoy!!!
