Peanut Butter and Honey Cereal Bars

Peanut Butter and Honey Cereal Bars: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

A quick and easy snack that is also delicious. If you need a bigger batch you can always double the recipe and use a 9x13 baking dish. Also you can change out the multigrain cheerios, for peanut butter or honey nut.

Peanut Butter and Honey Cereal Bars
Ingredients:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
3 cups multigrain Cheerios

Directions:
Lightly spray a 9x9 or 8x8 square baking dish or line with parchment paper and set aside.

In a large saucepan, over medium heat, add in the peanut butter and honey. Stirring constantly, heat the mixture until it just comes to a simmer, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir until well combined.

Add in the cereal and stir until well coated. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and press down firmly, using a piece of parchment paper. Refrigerate for 1 hour and then cut into bars. Store leftovers in an air tight container in the refrigerator.

Enjoy!!!
