Garlic Parmesan Asparagus

Garlic Parmesan Asparagus: Savory Sweet and Satsifying

Since my feelings towards asparagus have been changing over the years I have been more willing to try them in various recipes. Since I enjoy other vegetables roasted I decided to try roasting asparagus. Turns out it is really good, especially with some parmesan cheese and garlic.

Garlic Parmesan Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400º F.
  2. Break or cut off the woody ends of the asparagus spears.
  3. In a large bowl add the olive oil, garlic, black pepper and asparagus. Toss to coat well.
  4. Spread the asparagus out on a large baking sheet and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning once.
