Sriracha Honey Chicken Tenders

Sriracha Honey Chicken Tenders: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Chicken strips that are baked until nice and crispy. Then coated in a delicious sweet and spicy sauce. Eat them as is or dip them in creamy ranch dressing.

Sriracha Honey Chicken Tenders

Ingredients:

Chicken Tenders

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups panko
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • black pepper, to taste

Sriracha Honey Sauce

  • 1/2 cup sriracha sauce
  • 3 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl or large resealable bag add in the Greek yogurt, milk, Worcestershire sauce and sriracha. Mix to combine.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips of equal size and place into the Greek yogurt mixture and mix well. Cover the bowl or make sure the bag is sealed well and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 375º F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  4. In a shallow bowl combine the flour, panko, Parmesan cheese and black pepper with a fork.
  5. Remove the chicken 1 piece at a time from the marinade and place into the flour mixture and coat both sides well pressing down on the chicken to make sure it sticks.
  6. Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet and repeat the process with the remaining chicken pieces.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
  8. While the chicken is cooking prepare the sauce by adding the sriracha, honey, water, sugar and butter to a small saucepan.
  9. Heat over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil and the sugar has dissolved.
  10. When the 15 minutes are up on the chicken remove the baking sheet from the pan and dip the chicken into the sauce coating both sides.
  11. Place the chicken back onto the baking sheet and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes.
