I was a little skeptical about this dip, but had some beer leftover that I wanted to get rid of so I decided to try this dip and I am glad I did. Warm cheese dip with bacon and beer is a unique, yet a delicious dip.
Bacon Beer Cheese Dip
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup beer
- 8 ounces reduced fat cream cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled turkey bacon
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, add the beer and heat until warm over medium heat.
- Add in the cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Add in the bacon, mustard powder and cheddar cheese, stirring until melted smooth and warmed.
Notes:
The darker the beer the more beer flavor the dip will have.
