Peppermint White Hot Chocolate Float

Peppermint White Hot Chocolate Float: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Awhile back I heard of this new trend of adding ice cream to hot chocolate. I was not sure of it because when I drink hot chocolate, it is typically to warm up. But I decided to give it a try.

I have to admit it was delicious. The ice cream melted very quickly into the hot chocolate and did not cool it down too much, like I thought it would. Also it added a wonderful creaminess to the hot chocolate. I will definitely be on the look out for more hot chocolate floats.

Peppermint White Hot Chocolate Float

  • 1 cup fat free milk
  • 8 white chocolate peppermint kisses
  • 1 scoop of peppermint stick ice cream

  1. Pour milk into a microwave safe mug and microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  2. Add in chopped white chocolate peppermint kisses. Stir until melted.
  3. Microwave for 30 seconds and stir.
  4. Top with a scoop of peppermint stick ice cream.

If you can not find white chocolate peppermint kisses you can substitute 1/4 cup white chocolate chips and 1 crushed candy cane.

You can use either peppermint stick ice cream or a peppermint ice cream.
